Yin Yoga with Heidi - 7/19 @ 5-6PM
Yin Yoga is a slow, floor-based practice for deep opening of not only the physical body, but the thoughts and emotions as well. There are no standing poses in this practice--instead, stretches are held for 3 to 5 minutes with the body in close contact with the ground, supported by props, to allow for lengthening of the connective tissues. Yin poses often focus on hip opening, twists, and heart openers, to access hard-to-reach areas of stuck energy within the body.
